मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने सोमवार को देहरादून स्थित डालनवाला पुलिस स्टेशन का औचक निरीक्षण किया। निरीक्षण के दौरान थानेदार के ड्यूटी से अनुपस्थित पाए जाने पर मुख्यमंत्री ने तत्काल प्रभाव से उन्हें लाइन हाजिर करने के निर्देश दिए। मुख्यमंत्री ने कड़े शब्दों में कहा कि कानून व्यवस्था और जनसेवा जैसे संवेदनशील दायित्वों में किसी भी प्रकार की लापरवाही अक्षम्य है।
विभिन्न बैठकों के बाद अचानक पुलिस स्टेशन पहुंचे मुख्यमंत्री ने थाने की कार्यप्रणाली, अभिलेखों और व्यवस्थाओं का गहन निरीक्षण किया। उनके अचानक आगमन से पुलिस महकमे में हड़कंप मच गया और जमीनी हकीकत सामने आई।
निरीक्षण के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने थाने में मौजूद शिकायतकर्ताओं से सीधे संवाद कर उनकी समस्याएं सुनीं। उन्होंने स्पष्ट निर्देश दिए कि प्रत्येक शिकायत को औपचारिकता नहीं बल्कि जिम्मेदारी समझकर दर्ज किया जाए और उसका त्वरित, निष्पक्ष व प्रभावी समाधान सुनिश्चित किया जाए।
मुख्यमंत्री महिला हेल्प डेस्क भी पहुंचे और महिला फरियादियों से बातचीत कर उनकी शिकायतों की जानकारी ली। उन्होंने महिला सुरक्षा से जुड़े मामलों में संवेदनशीलता, गोपनीयता और त्वरित कार्रवाई को अनिवार्य बताते हुए किसी भी प्रकार की ढिलाई पर सख्त कार्रवाई की चेतावनी दी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने एफआईआर रजिस्टर, ड्यूटी रजिस्टर और उपस्थिति रजिस्टर का निरीक्षण कर लंबित मामलों की स्थिति की समीक्षा की। साथ ही बंदी गृह में गंदगी और अव्यवस्था पर गहरी नाराज़गी जताते हुए तत्काल साफ-सफाई और मानकों के अनुरूप व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए।
वाहन जांच अभियान, वेरिफिकेशन ड्राइव और अपराध नियंत्रण की समीक्षा करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने स्पष्ट किया कि इन अभियानों में किसी भी तरह की शिथिलता बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी। क्षेत्र की ट्रैफिक व्यवस्था पर असंतोष व्यक्त करते हुए उन्होंने विस्तृत जांच के आदेश दिए।
मुख्यमंत्री के निर्देश पर वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक देहरादून तत्काल मौके पर पहुंचे और आवश्यक अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई शुरू की। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि कानून व्यवस्था से जुड़ा प्रत्येक अधिकारी और कर्मचारी जनता के प्रति जवाबदेह है और जनहित में सख्त कार्रवाई से सरकार पीछे नहीं हटेगी।
