खान मंत्रालय ने 18 नवंबर को जारी कार्यालय ज्ञापन के माध्यम से बताया कि राज्य ने खनन क्षेत्र से जुड़ीं अधिकांश सुधारात्मक प्रक्रियाओं को समय पर और प्रभावी ढंग से लागू किया है।
खनन क्षेत्र में लगातार सुधारों के चलते प्रदेश को एक बार फिर केंद्र सरकार से बड़ी प्रोत्साहन राशि मिली है। खान मंत्रालय ने वर्ष 2025-26 की विशेष सहायता योजना (एसएएससीआई) के तहत उत्तराखंड को माइनर मिनरल्स रिफॉर्म्स में 100 करोड़ की अतिरिक्त प्रोत्साहन राशि प्रदान की है। बीती अक्तूबर में भी राज्य को एसएमआरआई रैंकिंग में दूसरा स्थान प्राप्त होने पर 100 करोड़ की प्रोत्साहन राशि मिल चुकी है।
खान मंत्रालय ने 18 नवंबर को जारी कार्यालय ज्ञापन के माध्यम से बताया कि राज्य ने खनन क्षेत्र से जुड़ीं अधिकांश सुधारात्मक प्रक्रियाओं को समय पर और प्रभावी ढंग से लागू किया है। खासतौर पर माइनर मिनरल रिफॉर्म्स से संबंधित सात में से छह प्रमुख सुधारों के मानकों को सफलतापूर्वक पूरा किया है। इस मामले में अन्य राज्यों से उत्तराखंड आगे और नंबर-वन पर रहा है।
केंद्र सरकार ने अपनी समीक्षा रिपोर्ट में माना है कि उत्तराखंड खनन क्षेत्र में लगातार प्रगति के साथ सुधारों को तेजी से लागू कर रहा है। इसी प्रदर्शन को देखते हुए केंद्र ने वित्त मंत्रालय से राज्य को 100 करोड़ रुपये की अतिरिक्त राशि देने का आदेश जारी किया है। संबंधित आदेश में नागालैंड, जम्मू-कश्मीर की तुलना में उत्तराखंड का प्रदर्शन बेहतर दर्ज किया गया है। मंत्रालय के आदेश के अनुसार संबंधित सभी राज्यों ने खनन में सुधार प्रक्रिया और अधिक प्रभावी बनाई है।
सरकारी प्रयासों के आ रहे हैं सकारात्मक परिणाम
प्रदेश में खनन क्षेत्र में पारदर्शिता और जवाबदेही सुनिश्चित करने के लिए ई नीलामी प्रणाली, सैटेेलाइट आधारित निगरानी जैसे कई कदम उठाए गए हैं। सरकार पर्यावरण का ध्यान रखते हुए, अवैध खनन पर लगाम कस रही है, जिसके सकारात्मक परिणाम नजर आने लगे हैं।
